Kingdom Living: Living Under God’s Rule

Kingdom Living: Living Under God’s Rule — Now

based on the teachings of Derek Prince "Living For the Kingdom Now" https://youtu.be/DGPSsERCoME?si=Hdzon8eR4UBQMusR

Kingdom living means allowing God’s rule to shape how we think, speak, decide, and live right now, not just someday in eternity.

Jesus taught us to pray, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
That prayer makes it clear that God’s Kingdom is meant to operate in our daily lives.

What Is Kingdom Living?

The Kingdom of God is not a physical territory — it is God’s reign. Kingdom living happens when God’s will takes precedence over our own.

Kingdom living looks like:

  • Obedience over convenience

  • Faith over fear

  • Eternal purpose over temporary comfort

It is not about religious activity, but about who has authority in our lives.

A Change of Kingdoms

Scripture tells us that when we come to Christ, we are transferred out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of God. That means our allegiance changes.

We no longer live by the values of the world system. We live by the values of the Kingdom:

  • Truth over compromise

  • Humility over pride

  • Service over self-promotion

You cannot live fully for two kingdoms at the same time.

The Cost and the Reward of Kingdom Living

Jesus never minimized the cost of Kingdom living. He spoke plainly about surrender, sacrifice, and counting the cost.

But He also promised that when we seek God’s Kingdom first, everything we truly need will be added. Kingdom living brings peace, security, and purpose that the world cannot give.

What may appear as loss in this life becomes eternal gain in God’s Kingdom.

Kingdom Living Is Revealed Through Obedience

The Kingdom of God becomes visible when believers live under God’s authority. Obedience is the evidence that Christ truly reigns in our hearts.

Kingdom living means:

  • Letting God guide your decisions

  • Trusting His provision

  • Walking in integrity, even when no one is watching

Where God rules, His Kingdom is seen.

A Kingdom That Cannot Be Shaken

Everything in this world is temporary. Systems, wealth, and power will eventually fail. But the Kingdom of God is unshakable.

When we live for the Kingdom now, we invest in what will last forever.

Final Reflection

Kingdom living is not about perfection — it is about submission.

The question is not whether you believe in the Kingdom of God.
The question is whether you are living under God’s rule today.

When Jesus spoke about the Kingdom of God, He was not referring only to heaven after death. He taught that the Kingdom is at hand — present wherever God’s authority is welcomed and obeyed.

Kingdom living means allowing God’s rule to shape how we think, speak, decide, and live right now, not just someday in eternity.

Jesus taught us to pray, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Derek Prince's sermon, Authority and Power of God's Word, offers a compelling exploration of the Bible's divine origin and its transformative power in the believer's life. Prince, a renowned Bible teacher, emphasizes that the authority of Scripture stems from its Author—the Holy Spirit. He articulates that "the authority of any work is the authority of the author," underscoring that the Bible's authority is rooted in its divine inspiration .Watch Online Sermons 2025+2The Singju Post+2Derek Prince Ministries+2

A central theme in Prince's message is the inseparable relationship between Jesus Christ and the Bible. He asserts that both are identified as the Word of God—Jesus as the personal Word and the Bible as the written Word. This connection implies that one's relationship with Jesus is intrinsically linked to their relationship with Scripture. Prince poignantly states, "You do not love God more than you love His Word," challenging believers to reflect on their devotion to the Bible .Derek Prince Ministries+7Faithlife+7Goodreads+7

Prince also highlights the practical applications of Scripture, describing it as a "two-edged sword" that serves as both a defensive and offensive weapon in spiritual warfare. He encourages believers to internalize God's Word, allowing it to guide, correct, and empower them in their daily lives .

Overall, Authority and Power of God's Word is a thought-provoking sermon that calls Christians to a deeper reverence for Scripture. Prince's teachings serve as a reminder that the Bible is not merely a historical document but a living, authoritative guide inspired by the Holy Spirit.

The Sin of Fornication #fornication - Consequences of sexual immorality

The Sin of Fornication.

The Script:

In today's world, the concept of fornication has become distorted, misunderstood, and even glorified. But what does it truly mean according to the teachings of Scripture?

According to the Webster 1828 dictionary, fornication is defined as "the incontinence or lewdness of unmarried persons, male or female; also, the criminal conversation of a married man with an unmarried woman."

1 Corinthians 6:18 New King James Version. "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

Hebrews 13:4 New King James Version. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge."

Galatians 5:19-21 New King James Version. "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."

The Bible speaks clearly about the sin of fornication. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, it admonishes believers to flee from sexual immorality. Hebrews 13:4 emphasizes the sanctity of marriage and warns against defiling it through fornication. And in Galatians 5:19, fornication is listed among the works of the flesh, contrasting it with the fruits of the Spirit.

The consequences of fornication are not only spiritual but also emotional and physical. It can lead to broken relationships, guilt, and even sexually transmitted diseases.

But there is hope. Through repentance and turning to God, one can find forgiveness and restoration.

Let us remember the seriousness of fornication and strive to live according to God's will.
