🌍 What Will the “Last Days” Be Like?
Jesus warned His disciples of the signs that would mark the end of the age. He said:
“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places… And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” – Matthew 24:7,12
When we look at our world today—wars and conflicts spreading across nations, food shortages, pandemics, natural disasters, and violence filling the news—it’s hard not to see the words of Jesus unfolding before our eyes.
He also warned that hearts would grow cold as selfishness, division, and lawlessness increase. Isn’t that what we see in so much of society right now? Hatred replacing love, confusion replacing truth, and fear replacing faith.
But Jesus didn’t leave us without hope. He told us to lift up our heads, for our redemption draws near (Luke 21:28). These events are not meant to drive us into despair but to remind us that His return is near.
