Why I Write These Lessons — I grew up as a shy and introverted young man, yet God placed within me a deep desire to share the Gospel and help others understand His Word. The Parable of the Talents has helped me understand that calling more clearly. In the parable, the master entrusted something valuable to each servant “according to his own ability,” and then expected each one to use faithfully what he had received.
I may not have been given the ability to speak confidently before large crowds, but I believe God has given me a desire to study, ask sincere questions, organize what I am learning, and communicate it through writing. I see the I’m Well Done Blog as one of the opportunities He has entrusted to me—a means of sharing biblical truth, encouraging others to prepare for eternity, and pointing people toward Jesus Christ.
I do not claim to possess all the answers or to have mastered every subject I address. I am a student of Scripture who shares what God is teaching me. My responsibility is not to compare my ability or assignment with anyone else’s, but to use faithfully what the Master has placed in my hands. My prayer is that He will use these lessons to help others and that, when I stand before Him, I will hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
