Kingdom Living: Living Under God’s Rule — Now
based on the teachings of Derek Prince "Living For the Kingdom Now" https://youtu.be/DGPSsERCoME?si=Hdzon8eR4UBQMusR
Kingdom living means allowing God’s rule to shape how we think, speak, decide, and live right now, not just someday in eternity.
Jesus taught us to pray, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
That prayer makes it clear that God’s Kingdom is meant to operate in our daily lives.
What Is Kingdom Living?
The Kingdom of God is not a physical territory — it is God’s reign. Kingdom living happens when God’s will takes precedence over our own.
Kingdom living looks like:
-
Obedience over convenience
-
Faith over fear
-
Eternal purpose over temporary comfort
It is not about religious activity, but about who has authority in our lives.
A Change of Kingdoms
Scripture tells us that when we come to Christ, we are transferred out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of God. That means our allegiance changes.
We no longer live by the values of the world system. We live by the values of the Kingdom:
-
Truth over compromise
-
Humility over pride
-
Service over self-promotion
You cannot live fully for two kingdoms at the same time.
The Cost and the Reward of Kingdom Living
Jesus never minimized the cost of Kingdom living. He spoke plainly about surrender, sacrifice, and counting the cost.
But He also promised that when we seek God’s Kingdom first, everything we truly need will be added. Kingdom living brings peace, security, and purpose that the world cannot give.
What may appear as loss in this life becomes eternal gain in God’s Kingdom.
Kingdom Living Is Revealed Through Obedience
The Kingdom of God becomes visible when believers live under God’s authority. Obedience is the evidence that Christ truly reigns in our hearts.
Kingdom living means:
-
Letting God guide your decisions
-
Trusting His provision
-
Walking in integrity, even when no one is watching
Where God rules, His Kingdom is seen.
A Kingdom That Cannot Be Shaken
Everything in this world is temporary. Systems, wealth, and power will eventually fail. But the Kingdom of God is unshakable.
When we live for the Kingdom now, we invest in what will last forever.
Final Reflection
Kingdom living is not about perfection — it is about submission.
The question is not whether you believe in the Kingdom of God.
The question is whether you are living under God’s rule today.
When Jesus spoke about the Kingdom of God, He was not referring only to heaven after death. He taught that the Kingdom is at hand — present wherever God’s authority is welcomed and obeyed.

Kingdom living is not something we step into all at once — it is a daily choice.
ReplyDeleteEach morning, we decide who will rule our thoughts, guide our decisions, and shape our actions.
These declarations are not meant to be read quickly, but spoken intentionally.
As you speak them, let your heart align with God’s rule and your life reflect His Kingdom.
When we live under God’s authority, we discover a peace the world cannot offer and a purpose that cannot be shaken.
May these daily declarations help anchor your life in what is eternal, and may God’s Kingdom be seen through you — today and every day.
