Why Every Believer MUST Watch This Video NOW!
John Barnett's message, "EARTH IS ENDING—When Are You Going To Start Redeeming Your Time for Eternal Purpose?", is one of those timely reminders every follower of Jesus Christ needs to hear.
Our world constantly competes for our attention with temporary pursuits, yet Scripture reminds us that this present world is passing away. Peter wrote that the heavens and earth are reserved for a future judgment and asked a searching question:
"What manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness?" (2 Peter 3:11)
That question demands an honest response from every believer.
The greatest danger for many Christians today is not open rebellion against God—it is becoming distracted by the urgent while neglecting the eternal. We can become so consumed with careers, possessions, entertainment, and daily responsibilities that we lose sight of why God has left us here. Every day is a gift from God and an opportunity to glorify Christ, grow in His grace, encourage other believers, and share the Gospel with those who are still without hope.
This is why self-examination is so important. Scripture repeatedly calls believers to examine their lives, motives, priorities, and stewardship. We should regularly ask ourselves:
- Am I investing my time in what has eternal value?
- Am I growing spiritually or simply growing older?
- Would Christ find me faithfully serving Him if He returned today?
- Am I living for earthly success, or for the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant"?
These are not questions intended to produce fear, but faithful living. They help us align our hearts with God's eternal purposes.
John Barnett's teaching is a powerful wake-up call to redeem the time because our opportunities to serve Christ on earth are limited. Once this life is over, our eternal destiny is secure through faith in Christ alone, but our opportunities to serve Him faithfully in this present age will have passed forever.
As Peter concludes his final letter, he leaves us with these words:
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18)
May this message encourage each of us to evaluate our priorities, redeem every opportunity God gives us, and live each day with eternity firmly in view.
