“What Are You Doing With What God Gave You?” This powerful message takes a fresh look at the Parable of the Talents (Matthew , not through the lens of money and tithing alone, but through the lens of true stewardship — which means management of everything God has entrusted to us.
Stewardship is not just about finances. It’s about faithfully managing your time, your talents, your calling, your compassion, and your opportunities to serve others. Many people believe they are good stewards because they tithe or donate to their local church, but Jesus is calling us to much more.
True stewardship includes caring for the poor, helping widows and orphans, and giving generously to strangers — not out of obligation, but out of love, with no expectation of return. As James wrote, "Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble..." (James 1:27)
This message challenges us to ask: Are we doing what God has called us to do with what He has given us? Or are we burying our gifts and living for ourselves?
Let’s be found faithful — not lazy. Let’s answer our Kingdom calling and hear those words: "Well done, good and faithful servant."
